Arizona Overseed Schedule October 2019

October Is the Heart of Arizona Overseed Season.

Fall brings beautiful Arizona weather. Temps are finally dipping below 100 degrees. Mornings are cool. And you can roll down a window or two while driving in the evening. For golfers, October is the start of prime golf weather and the Arizona Overseed Schedule October 2019.

It is a time when we start seeing brief closures at local Arizona courses for overseeding, which prepares the grass for winter playing conditions. Closures last a minimum of 10 days, but can sometimes last up to 3 weeks. Greens crews will focus on making the switch from Bermudagrass to ryegrass during this brief window.
